Cataract

Cataracts are a common eye condition that affects the clarity of the eye's natural lens. The lens, which is typically clear and transparent, becomes cloudy or opaque in individuals with cataracts. This clouding interferes with the passage of light into the eye, leading to blurred or impaired vision. Cataracts can occur in one or both eyes and are often associated with aging, although they can develop due genetics, medical conditions, prolonged UV exposure and medications.
